We believe in the power of prayer and bringing our needs and requests before God. A couple key scriptures are below.

Matthew 18:19-20 says “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers I am there among them.” (NLT).

1 John 5:14-15 says "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him." (NIV)

Philippians 4: 4-7 says  "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (NLT)

What this is saying is that, we as God's children have the honor and privilege to bring our requests and needs to God, listen for his voice and direction, and then pray his direction. Prayer is a powerful tool.
